There are a couple of cheats for Grand Theft Auto China Town. First up are the weapon cheats. The first weapon cheat is for grenades, nightstick, pistol, minigun, assault rifle, micro sub machine gun, and a stubby shotgun and the code is LOADOA. The second weapon cheat is for molotovs, taser, dual pistols, flamethrower, carbine, smb, dual-barrel shotgun and the code is LOADOB. The third weapon cheat is for mines, a chainsaw, a revolver, a flamethrower, a carbine, an smg, and a dual-barrel shotgun the code is LOADC. The fourth and last weapon cheat gives you flashbangs, a bat, pistol, rpg, carbine, micro smg, and a stubby shotgun and the code is LOADOD. The code to get you ten thousand dollars is CASHIN. Another code is Lifeup, which refills your health to max. If you need more protection use SHELLY and you it will refill your armor.

If you like being chased by the cops you will like the cheat COPIN, however if you hate having cops on you, you can get them off of you with COPOUT. If you wish to know where all the drug dealers are located at then TRIPPY is a good cheat for you. You will be able to know if you have entered a cheat successfully or not, if you did all of the magnetized letters go back to their original position on the board and a piece of text appears at the bottom of the screen with the load-out name you selected. Once you exit your safe house, you can switch weapons by pressing the pause button in the upper right hand corner.

So, you’ve holed up in your cavern for two and a half days playing halo and everything’s been going great. But, the problem is that you ran our of red bull and your roommate has been waiting to vacuum under the spot that you’ve been residing. It’s time to move, but you need to keep playing. Drat, this world and all its injustices! Not so fast battleship galactica, there just may be a way out of your predicament. Downloadable iPod games.

As of yet, you’re still shooting parashooters jumping out of planes and still trying your luck (and wit, I’m sure) at solitaire; but things are about to change. Apple has remained fairly quiet about the software and possibilities that are awaiting the next evolution in iPods, but there are some reasonably trustworthy rumblings out there that downloadable iPod games are on the way.

There has been a lot of talk about an Eden Praries based company that would be in charge of getting the software together for Apple in order for the downloadable games to run. Just the idea alone makes a lot of sense for Apple, as what can they do next to top the functions of the 5th gen iPod, without using down loadable games?

And I don’t know who said that necessity was the mother of all invention, but the never faced the competition of computer hackers. There’s a plethora of hacks out there that are available to hook you up with 3rd party software that can currently make iPod downloadable games a reality. But, if you’re a little shy and feel a bit uncomfortable with doing illegal business with a guy that’s sat in his basement for longer than you, there’s no problem, because Apple is already on the job.

In Find it you are presented two images that seem to be identical on first glance. However, each pair of images differs in four details — find them! But look carefully: this may be harder than it sounds, as an ever-shortening time limit is working against you. If you just cannot find the next error, do not give up, since there are two wild cards that will help you out.

This game features many things. Such as, there are 400 different pairs of beautiful pictures with many varying topics, almost 3000 different errors, randomly chosen per level. Even if you encounter an image again, the errors won’t be the same! The perfect game for playing your iPod’s music in the background — just deactivate the game’s music in the options menu!

Wildcards will help you out in case you get stuck. It has a new high score list NEW, it also has game statistics! If you can’t find one of the errors don’t give up, because you have two wild cards. These wild cards will show you the difference. The lite version of this only offers you 25 pairs of pictures and about 200 different errors. It also has a local high score list.

Zombie Defense is a fun game that involves setting up barriers, explosives, and the four survivors you have. You can set up these things however you want, however, if you block the way to the survivors the zombies will just break the barriers down. There are many places you can choose to defend yourself at, just scroll around on the map to see the different areas. The zombies will only come through one entrance to you, but can split up if you have different routes for them to take. After you complete a wave of zombies, you will be able to search the city finding new guns sometimes and explosives. The times you don’t find any guns you will just find explosives.

The four survivors include a Zed a Texas cowboy that has excellent accuracy with weapons like the .270 hunting rifle, Candi a pretty girl, Toby, and Oma the deadliest survivor of them. These four survivors are all in Texas and have survived onslaught. How many more days can they survive the zombie attacks?

There are five guns for you find from searching after defeating a wave of zombies. These guns are .357 magnum, 12 gauge shotgun, .270 hunting rifle, AR-5 assault rifle, glock. Your four survivors start out with a pistol. There is only one bomb you can find, but for it to detonate you have to touch the bomb whenever you want it to detonate. There are ten maps that you can choose from to defend yourself at, but be warned the more you stay at the same place the more zombies will came each round.

The bad news is that you’re a geek. The good news, however, is that you acknowledge it, accept it and even embrace a little bit. In other related, potentially good news (stories), I am also a geek; so we can probably hang out. But, what else does that mean? It means a couple of things. First off, if you ever have a Maxim in your hands, you’re reading the technology section, fore sure. Second off, you will be turning right to the games review? section as soon as you’re finished with the tech stuff. And finally, it means that you combine both of these passions by playing games on your ipod. Embrace it.

What are you playing though? Classics for sure. And a classic game section wouldn’t be complete without brick. This well known game, with the forgettable name, is the one where you slide a paddle at the bottom of the screen to bounce a ball towards the top to knock out all the bricks, hence the name.

Up next is parachute, where you finally get to kill something human, probably you can transfer any anger that you have towards all the people that used to beat you up in school giving them their just deserves, in the form of a 20 caliber bullet through the head.

The classic ipod games motif keeps on rolling here, except this time the game doesn’t try to hide what it thinks of your social skills, but rather puts everything out in the open with the title, ?solitaire.? You know how to play, so I won’t waste your time and add further salt in this wound. Honestly, how many times have you won in your life? Lots, I bet.

Then the ipod games start to mix things up a little bit. Lastly you can try your ear at Music Quiz, which weighs in as the only ipod game name that is more lamentable than brick. But, the point isn’t to critique the name, its to make sure you’re not just listening to the radio hits, by selecting a song from your library and giving you 5 options to name the tune hey, that’d be a decent name!

The point is you don’t have to just wait until you get home to your PS2 for the ultimate in hand-eye electronic death battles do it right now, while you’re waiting for your blind date to how up.

If you want to get far in Tap defense then this is good for you. First you will want to buy the arrow tower when the game first starts, then upgrade it to level 2, and then when you get more gold fully upgrade it.

You will want to sell it, before the next level begins, you have to highlight it and do it quickly, and later on in the game (as many as you can) before the next level begins, giving you extra cash from the sale of course and the interest, remember you can pause the game and sell the towers you don’t need.

Or if you have to much time on your hands you can sell and rebuild, sell and rebuild so you get more gold and get those insane scores in the millions that you see on the network high scores, Also when you get the halos use them to get the magic towers as well not just the extra interest or you’ll lose maybe not in easy mode but medium and hard for sure. Once you are around level 30, start adding fully upgraded storm towers near the bottom path. Continue to add fully upgraded storm and ice as needed, trying not to disrupt your compound interest. As the monsters hp increase exponentially, the storm + ice combination should be able to keep pace. You don’t need to bother with earthquake or magic towers.

Starting tower placement is very important as there are generally two spots you’ll want to place your towers. It is much better to group your towers together in one of these two spots rather than spread them out all over the map as putting them together will lets you take advantage of their combined effects far better. The stone tower can only hit one target a once, not multiple targets (unless you get the feature upgrades) and each type of tower can be upgraded far more than six times(the six times is for features, not for damage).

The two starting spots are the two island spots that are surrounded by the path, you’ll want to place all your towers in one of these two positions. You also need to check the range of the towers to place them in the best spots. You need one of each kind of attack tower. Don’t forget there are two types of upgrades available, upgrades for the feature, and upgrades for the tower itself in terms of damage, you’ll need both, especially for the stone towers. Because each additional tower of the same type costs more than the previous by a lot and upgrades are only incremental in expensiveness, I recommend you only build one of each tower type and stick with upgrading those as this method is far more cost-effective than anything else.

I can’t say for sure when I know I was bitten but I have the date on my receipts (11/15/06). I guess I was late to the iPod party but I’ve not missed a step since I got involved with Buck, my iPod.

I can’t say for sure when I know I was bitten but I have the date on my receipts (11/15/06). I guess I was late to the iPod party but I’ve not missed a step since I got involved with my iPod.

I own 3 now, one just for movies, and another for music and one for data and I’m negotiating with a contact in China for 5 more.

iPod is the brain child of Steven Jobs, Apple guru and all around genius. More than 22 million ipods have been sold to US adults, which amounts to approximately 11% of the population (according to the non-profit Pew Internet & American Life Project). I became a fan and user and my addiction continues to grow stronger.

Now I spend my days learning about new applications and my nights surfing for clearance sales, closeouts, underground sources for discounts on accessories. For example, last week I found a site that sells what they call an iPod Converter.

This unit allows for unlimited downloads of movies and music and games and software and provides a lifetime membership in their download club. As a full blown movie nut this little handful of technology is gobbling up my free time by the hour.

Talk about addiction, I was rummaging through some magazines in the basement of the library at midnight (don’t ask) and found this underground techie magazine. There was a story about an MP3 converter that took me a few minutes to realize was the iPod converter I heard about last week.

The techie manual indicated this is better than Blockbuster and NetFlicks all rolled into one very user friendly palm-sized unit. I’ll share the link here anyone who is interested can read all about it.

As I continue to learn about all-things-iPod I’ve just discovered about iPod hacks. This reference startled me at first as it is not in my nature to destroy others enjoyment in any manner, especially when it comes to something like PCs and iPods.

What I learned is the term hacks when it refers to iPod is another way of saying accessories, except that the modification most likely will void your iPod’s warrantee. In any case the lists I found were nothing less than fascinating.

For instance, according to howstuffworks.com, the range of accessories includes downloadable iPod games and programs that convert DVDs to iPod-friendly video files.

There are also programs that convert PDA files your PowerPoint presentations into files that work with your iPod-compatible.

The howstuffworks website also provided a reference to a list of some current applications:

iPod hackers are publishing all sorts of programs that alter the way an iPod works — some of the software is free, and some of it is for purchase. Some currently available hacks let you:

Make an iPod work with Linux machines and run Linux applications.

Remove volume caps (iPods sold in Europe cap the volume at 100 decibels; uncapped iPods can reach more than 115 decibels.)

Turn your iPod into a universal remote.

Attach an external hard drive to your iPod to increase the storage capacity.

Change your iPod’s font and graphics.

Watch movies on your iPod in full-screen mode.

Plug your iPod into any computer (even without iTunes) and listen to music from the hard drive.

Transfer photos to iPod without using iTunes.

Replace iTunes all together as the iPod’s main jukebox.

Use an iPod with a Windows 98 machine.

While I am fascinated with the expansion this provides I am too cautious and protective of Buck to try anything other than factory sealed products from Apple. I can be patient until they ramp up to the accessory list I peeked at in an underground publication.

The upcoming Apple list is robust and will blow away the hackers meager offerings. Meanwhile, I’ll stick to my movie and music downloading which keeps me rather busy and satisfied.

However if you hear any buzz about an auto-pilot for long cross-country drives that’s compatible with a 2006 STS, please pass it on. I might just let Buck give it a try.
